New Tax Deadline due to COVID-19 Pandemic

In March 2020, due to the increase of COVID-19 cases, the IRS and select states have extended the tax filing deadline to July 15th without penalties/interest. For those who are not ready for the July 15th deadline, filing for an extension is required and the filing date deadline for extensions is October 15th, penalties and interests will accrue from July 16th to October 15th.
